Celebrity Health Routine That You Should Be Following

Celebrities are our benchmark of beauty and health. Their highly publicized lives are our daily source of a break from life, but their lifestyle puts a certain pressure on us normal folks as well. There are many celebrities who look way younger than their age and that is because of the religious health routines they have. Some of them are a little expensive, while others are just as basic as a drinking water. Here are some of the health routines almost all celebrities swear by.
Drinking Water
There are many health benefits to drinking water on a regular basis. Water helps improve the skin’s complexion, flush out toxins, boost the immune system, increase energy, and relieve fatigue. Celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Paris Hilton, and more are believers of water therapy. Water for them is the holy grail of their everyday life.
Eat Greens
It is a common fact that eating greens can do wonders to our body. Green vegetables contain high concentrations of vitamins and minerals. Dieticians across countries promote eating greens and incorporating it into our diets. Miranda Lambert, Megan Fox, and supermodel Miranda Kerr make sure to have a healthy plate of greens every single day.
Regular Exercise
Good diet and rigorous exercise should always go hand in hand in maintaining best bodies. Exercise improves mood, boosts energy, and it will give you that extra glow – post workout. Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima always makes sure to do an intense workout every day. One of her favorites is boxing, no wonder she’s still knocking the younger generation year after year in being the top Angel.
Use Sunscreen & Moisturizer
Sun can give us that gorgeous golden tan that many people obsess over. The tanning industry isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. But the sun can be very dangerous to our bare skin that is why it’s always advisable to wear sunscreen. Celebrities like Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman, and Jennifer Lopez never set one foot out of their mansions without having a layer of sunscreen and moisturizer on. It’s safe to say that this combination is the secret to having a youthful glow.
No Fad Diets
Shakira is one of the celebrities who openly spoke against fad diets. Usually, fad diets are preferred by those who want to lose weight without doing all the heavy lifting required. The fad diet success rate is remarkably low and doesn’t get desired results very often. That’s why for Shakira, sticking to an intense diet is very difficult. Instead, she eats the right food and she always finds the right balance between exercise and healthy eating. We have to give Shakira this one because her hips really don’t lie.
No Makeup
Sleeping with makeup on can be harmful to the skin, especially if it’s done on a regular basis. Makeup has lots of chemicals in it, making it super dangerous to our skin. Harry Potter’s Emma Watson shared in an interview that she makes sure to remove all the makeup from her face before hitting the sack. So ladies, always remember to wash your face before snoozing.
It’s Okay to Have Cheat Days
Eating clean and healthy is hard work for all of us. It takes a lot of effort to prepare food while ordering pizza can be done in just a few minutes. It’s also more fun eating junk food when hanging out with friends and binge-watching movies. Believe it or not, celebrities, too, have the same sentiments. Chrissy Teigen has been open about eating occasional chicken nuggets here and there while following her specially designed fitness regimen. So don’t worry, it’s okay to have a cheat day every now and then, just make sure to get back on track.
The Wine Therapy
The former First lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, is one of the icons who swears by drinking wine to relax. Even Queen Elizabeth drinks it on a regular basis. According to recent studies, drinking a moderate glass of wine promotes longevity and reduces the risk of heart attack. Ladies and gents, raise your glasses. However, make sure not to do this very often as excess drinking can do more harm than good. It can cause dryness of skin, damage liver, kidneys and you can even end up in an alcohol rehab center, so tread carefully.
